Jutsu
Jutsu encompasses a ninja's mystical arts where they use chakra to perform an action. Jutsu are invoked using handseals, or through mediums such as drawing, but these are all just a means to weave chakra to perform the jutsu. There are many types of Jutsu.
Levels
Jutsu have Levels. Levels will be used to measure your capability in a particular school of Jutsu. A higher level will allow you to learn higher ranking techniques or even learn categories of Jutsu.
Levels are climbed with Experience, with Feats, or with WordCount Training. Every time you go up a Level you get free jutsu/techniques in that Jutsu tree.
Ninjutsu
Ninjutsu is perhaps the most common, but broad form of Jutsu. It often involves using chakra to manipulate or produce an element then attack then use said element in attack of defense. This isn't always the case, as Ninjutsu can also involve using plain chakra to create clones, change one's appearance, or even walk on water.
Genjutsu
Genjutsu is essentially using chakra to cast illusions onto a target through their five senses. Though they aren't real, the effects of Genjutsu effect the body as if they were real and that's even if the target is aware they are under a Genjutsu.
Taijutsu
Taijutsu is chakra enhanced martial arts. It relies on using one's body and chakra as their weapon.

Bukijutsu represents all ranged weapon techniques not just shuriken and kunai, but also things like bows, and whatever else you can think of.
Fuinjutsu
Fuinjutsu involves sealing techniques and is often overlooked school of Jutsu. Fuinjutsu allow ninja to store and/or retrieve basically anything from inside of other things such as scrolls or even people through mystic writing in ink or even sometimes blood. With Fuinjutsu a ninja's chakra can be infused in these inscriptions to cause a variety of effects. A common use is to summon ninja tools or animal companions from distant places or realms.
Medical Ninjutsu
Medical Ninjutsu is a branch of jutsu associated with healing, as well as the manipulation of their own, or another's body. It requires increasing levels of medical knowledge and excellent chakra control to execute. Skilled users can even weave their chakra into deadly poison.

Sensory Ninjutsu
Sensory Ninjutsu involves using one's chakra in supplement to their five senses or as a sixth sense itself to locate the presence of others or discern details about them.
Kugujutsu
Kugujutsu involves using one's chakra to manipulate puppets. This is typically done through the chakra string technique.
Space-Time & Barrier Ninjutsu
Space-Time Ninjutsu is a high caliber art that involves manipulating time & space even more than traditional summoning through Fuinjutsu does.
Barrier arts allow users to erect barriers to protect themselves, or trap enemies, but those are just the straight forward uses.Requires Advanced Ninjutsu and Adept Fuinjutsu or vice versa to begin learning.

Genjutsu
Genjutsu is essentially using chakra to cast illusions onto a target through their five senses. Though they aren't real, the effects of Genjutsu effect the body as if they were real and that's even if the target is aware they are under a Genjutsu.
- Lvl.1 ~ Intermediate: Genjutsu at this level are mostly optical illusions only and lack the depth to directly effect a human through means more than misdirection.
- Lvl.2 ~ Adept: Genjutsu at this level are sophisticated enough to have sufficient effect on unseasoned shinobi. They're deeper than mere optical illusions and can even instill strong emotion like fear, panic, or even fatigue.
- Lvl.3 ~ Advanced: Genjutsu at this level is enough to mislead armies of men or stun the mightiest shinobi in their tracks.
- Lvl.4 ~ Master: Genjutsu at this level is truly debilitating and can now probe into the brain deep enough to erase, rewrite, or fabricate memories.
