Tsu no Kendasu (Seven Swords Style)

Tsu no Kendansu is a rather unorthodox style of swordsmanship, yet it is still the preferred style of swordsmanship of shinobi native to Kaminari no Kuni’s Kumogakure. This is due to the incredibly high mobility, unparalleled utility, and effectiveness against predictive abilities such as the Sharingan and other imitations.

It achieves this by combining high speeds with entirely random strikes, layered with multiple attacks delivered simultaneously. And while to the normal eye it appears as nothing more than a jumbled mess, a maelstrom of steel and movement, it’s actually a very precise flurry of strikes that can kill even the most skilled fighters in a matter of moments if they aren’t careful.

Be wary when approaching practioners of this art.

Restrictions

1. This sword style is only available to Taijutsu primaries.

2. This sword style is only available to shinobi hailing from Kumogakure. Those who seek this style, but hail from foreign nations, may obtain it via acquiring ic-permission from the current Raikage.

Chou Biburato Raintontou (Supervibrato Lightning Release Swords)

Description: The characteristic shape of each sword not only makes them ideal for cutting, using either edge of the blade, but also means they can be thrown with great accuracy. The swords seemingly get their name due to the fact that the material they are forged from, which allows wielders to channel their ration-based chakra through them; this increases the blade’s vibrating frequency and hence its piercing and cutting power, to an extent that exceeds those of standard wind-release cutting power.

These are the only weapons in which this elemental channeling can be used for with this style.

The Seven Swords Dance is an advanced style of kenjutsu unlike any other. Some sword styles focus on using one sword, large or small, with a rare few focusing on two or three working in harmony. Few however, are able to surpass these limitations. To think that one could wield not one, but seven swords is something to behold. By holding the swords in various joints and other unorthodox ways, a master is able to release an unrelenting assault onto their opponents in a precise matter that makes prediction nearly impossible. Within minutes, a master is capable of putting out hundreds of slashes and attacks. Only the most skilled swordsman will be even able to last a few seconds with a master of this style. Even the fabled Sharingan is utterly helpless when pitted against this dance of death.

Note: The constant feed of chakra allows the user to seamlessly control and keep track of all seven swords at once. Besides this, they have also learned to master all their senses - namely sight and hearing - which gives them inhuman clarity while in motion, allowing them to see the world around them as clearly, and easily, as they would were they simply standing there. Additionally, this ability allows the user to properly wield the blades while in unorthodox positions. (midair, during flips, handstands, etc.). Without learning this technique, the user will be unable to preform properly with the swords. Additionally, this passive is only active while the user uses all seven swords.

Besides the sheer amount of swords that a the style uses, the profound sense of balance the practitioners display is one of the most distinguishing traits of the Seven Swords style. With the utmost dedication to their body and mastering its secrets, practitioners of this style command unwavering balance no matter what position they may find themselves in (one hand, up side down, one leg, etc.). More importantly, they are able to use this balance to move as fast as they're able, no matter what they may be doing when applicable (e.g whether they are running with their legs or hands, forward or back-pedaling, or spinning and flipping through the air).

Note: Unlike the style's other passive technique, this ability can be used without the swords being present (i.e out of battle). When used in that manner, they will need to pay a High cost per turn it is in use. However, if in use while the swords are active (i.e you're fighting while Seven Swords Dance is in effect), this ability costs nothing.

This is the most basic offensive technique of the entire style, but arguably the foundation as well. After a practitioner has learned how to hold their swords and move with them unimpeded, they must then learn how to attack with them - not just one, but all seven simultaneously. This allows the user to essentially strike their their opponents anywhere between one and seven times, the latter of which can be carried out simultaneously. Because of the sheer number, it limits the ability for the opponent to actively and properly defend.

Note: This simply allows the user to strike their opponent multiple times, in most cases at the exact same time. Despite the capacity of this technique, the attack(s) being carried out must be logical. You can't simply say: "I attack you seven times!" Your body must be able to deliver the attack(s) in question.

Hachiken (Bee Sting)

Due to the unique method in which the user holds their swords, and the unique shape of the aforementioned blades, they serve as excellent throwing weapons as well as hand-to-hand equipment. This technique involves firing off one, or all seven, of the swords with pin-point accuracy. While these blades only move in one direction, this technique can be used in incredibly close quarters - or when you have your opponent's weapon pinned down with one of your other blades - which allows an incredibly high-rate of success.

Note: Despite being swords, these blades move incredibly quick (as if they were thrown with both hands). All swords can be fired off simultaneously.

Gufuu Hachiken (Bee Sting Tornado)

Once the user has mastered the art of attacking with their weapons simultaneously, they can then take their study to the next level. By releasing a violent torrent of chakra from their body, they become a whirlwind of force and speed, which allows them to effectively double the speed, accuracy, and power of their techniques. Seven strikes quickly becomes fourteen, which decreases an opponent's ability to properly evade all of them. Without the ability to predict, even the famed Sharingan can't keep up with this flurry of attacks. This attack can even be used while in air, or moving along the terrain.

Note: While the description does say "double", it was simply a descriptor to justify the amount of attacks a user is able to deliver at once. It does not pertain to their movement speed, strength, etc.

Raikou Denkan (Lightning Charge)

One of the more deadly arts of the Tsu no Kendansu, this is considered the succession technique. Only available to those who have been blessed with an affinity for Raiton, the practitioner learns how to harness their electrical chakra into the highly-receptive weapon. This allows the user to increase the vibrations of the blade, significantly increasing its cutting power to levels that allow it to slowly cut through even the thickest steel. More impressively, it possesses the ability to neutralize the cutting power of other electrical techniques, such as Chidori and Raikiri.

Note: This technique can only be used with the Chou Biburato Raintontou, unique solely to this fighting style. This technique can not be combined with Gufuu Hachiken (Bee Sting Tornado).
