Mokuton Release Mokutonheader

Mokuton no Jutsu, or the Wood Release Technique, is a Advanced Release of surprising and intense power. The Release is formed through the combination of two Basic Releases, Doton (Earth Release) and Suiton (Water Release). When the two Basic Releases are combined together in the correct fashion, the user is capable of producing Mokuton, and with it, the ability to manipulate and control trees.

Like most of the Releases that exist within the world, Mokuton is capable of being created both from the environment around the user as well as from the user's chakra. Because of this ability, it is important that an opponent stay vigilant against a Mokuton user.

Mokuton in particular is a powerful branch of Ninjutsu due to both the high defensive qualities taken from Doton as well as the high malleability of the roots and wood which is taken from Suiton. The combination of sturdiness and flexibility means that those who fight against a master of Mokuton would do well to keep their guards up, or else perish when an unsuspected forest appears from underneath their feet.

Restriction
    1. Mokuton requires Administrative permission.

    2. Mokuton requires mastery (50% of listed jutsu) of both the Doton (Earth) and Suiton (Water) releases (Not including Senju).

Mokuton no Jutsu (Wood Release Technique)
Rank: SS
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary
Handseals: -
Chakra Consumption: -
Mokuton is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai. By combining the Earth and Water Elements simultaneously, the user is capable of creating wood, seeds, flowers, and even complete trees. It is said that practitioners of this release are able to completely reshape battlefields to their advantage.

Note: This release requires mastery (50%) of the Earth and Water Elements.

Mokusei no Tate (Wooden Shield)
Rank: D
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Defensive
Handseals: 3
Chakra Consumption: Mid, Mid (optional)
Mokusei no Tate is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing the required handseals, the user forms a 1 meter in diameter shield. A handle is attached to the back for easy maneuvering. Although this shield cannot withstand elemental attacks, its durability allows it to protect the user from punches, kicks, and blows from weaponry.

Note: If the shield is damaged, the user has the option to sacrifice a Mid amount of chakra to repair and recondition it.

Daijurin no Jutsu (Great Forest Technique)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Handseals: 4
Chakra Consumption: Mid x2, Mid (upkeep)
Daijurin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user will transfer the tissues of their arms into wood at the cellular level. Then, by activating the wood, the user stimulates them to grow rapidly; they lengthen at high speeds and fork into many branches, capable of capturing the enemy. If the user chooses, the branches can be morphed into sharp stakes, turning them into sharp, spear-like piercing weapons. When the user chooses to stop the flow of chakra to their arms the cells revert back to their normal composition and the wood falls off.

Note: The two main wooden beams can travel in a straight line when grown, but can split into up to two spikes/branches per use. These can deviate up to 90 degrees from the main wood piece's travel path.

Jukai Heki (Tree Wall Barrier)
Rank: C
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Defensive
Handseals: 3
Chakra Consumption: High x2
Jukai Heki is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing the required handseals, the user places their hand against the ground. Countless wooden branches shoot up in front of them, entwining together so as to close any gaps, forming a net-like wall with decent defensive power.

Note: The height and length of the wall cannot exceed 5 meters each. The barrier can defend against any attacks of equal or lower rank, but will be damaged by attacks of higher ranks.

Cutting Technique (Sashiki no Jutsu)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10+)
Type: Offensive
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: High
Sashiki no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing the single handseal, the user will them expel a barrage of wooden spikes from their body, which the user is able to create a makeshift sword from, or use them as long ranged projectiles. The cutting and piercing ability of the wooden spikes are upon the level of techniques such as Chidori, not much being able to stop these wooden spikes. When the spikes are impaled into something or someone, they can be remotely triggered to sprout into branches within the victim, skerewing them.

Jubaku Eisou (Tree Bind Flourishing Burial)
Rank: B
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Offensive
Handseals: 5
Chakra Consumption: High, High (optional)
Jubaku Eisou is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user puts their hands against the ground. Roots burst up from beneath the opponent, growing around them and trapping them in place. This has much less of a strain on the user because the roots tug the opponent partially beneath the ground, up to their torso. This prevents the opponent from all forms of movement, including handseals.

Note: The restraints can only be broken by a strike or technique of a higher rank. By sacrificing a High amount of chakra, the roots can be told to begin draining chakra from the trapped opponent at a rate of a single Mid per turn.

Shichurou no Jutsu (Four-Pillar Prison Technique)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Supplementary
Handseals: 4
Chakra Consumption: High x2
Shichurou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user converts chakra into timber under the ground and makes it grow rapidly. This forms into a wooden prison, the size of which is based on the user's imagination.

Note: The prison can withstand attacks equal or lower in rank to it, but will be destroyed by stronger attacks. The size can be no larger than 5 meters in height, 5 meters in width, and 5 meters in length.

Moku Jouheki no Jutsu (Wood Barrier Technique)
Rank: A
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Defensive
Handseals: 6
Chakra Consumption: High x2
Moku Jouheki no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user will allow their chakra to seep into the ground, effecting the roots. These form into beams of wood that emerge from the ground, forming together into a dome-shaped barrier in front of the user that can deflect incoming attacks.

Note: The domed barrier is double the height and width of the user. It can defend against a single attack of equal or lower rank before being destroyed.

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu (Wood Clone Technique)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: High (per clone)
Moku Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing a set of handseals, the user will morph roots in the ground into an exact clone of themselves. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Moku Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of these wooden clones is indefinite, and they can travel an unlimited distance from the user. If the Moku Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back to its natural wooden state.

Note: Unlike most elemental bunshin, the Mokuton Bunshin is said to be an even more perfect carbon copy of the user than the fabled Kage Bunshin - as in, completely indiscernible from the original user. Like the Kage Bunshin, these clones can perform any technique that the user can (including kekkei genkai); furthermore, any knowledge \ power obtained through the Moku bunshin will be transferred to the user the moment it is obtained (without the need of dismissing the clone). However, unlike the Kage Bunshin, these clones require less chakra to form due to their unique wooden nature. However, this also limits the clone's pool to the standard 2x High worth. The user can supplement their own chakra into the clone to further bolster their pools.

Mokuryuu (Wood Dragon)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Handseals: 4
Chakra Consumption: Massive, High (optional)
Mokuryuu is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After performing the required hand seals, the user creates a gigantic wooden dragon from the ground directly beneath them. It can then be directed to attack an intended target. Its shape closely resembles a Chinese dragon, though with a short trunk-like nose, having an elongated and serpentine body, which can be used to constrict larger opponents. It is capable of absorbing chakra from those that it traps.

Note: The dragon's width is roughly 3 meters, and it can be up to 15 meters long. For a single High worth of chakra, the user can regenerate the dragon from any amount of damage it has received so long as some piece of the original construct remains. Also, when it has an opponent constricted, it absorbs Mid x2 amount of chakra from them per turn, which can lower the amount of upkeep the user needs to give.

Tesabaki Konkan no Jutsu (Root Manipulation Technique)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: High, Mid (optional)
Considered as the forefather technique of the Birth of a Dense Woodland, this technique operates on a slightly smaller (and more practical) scale. Rather than generate an entire forest for their use, the use will, instead, create a myriad of roots to which they can control freely. This gives the user a rather steep advantage in one on one combat, while also increasing their effectiveness in multi-enemy scenarios, as well.

Note: These roots can vary in size, up to a maximum of five meters in width and up twenty meters in length. These roots can be used to ensnare victims and or wield weaponry, and or defend. The user must remain in contact with the ground to continue to manipulate these large roots, or on one of the roots themselves. Up to ten roots can be created. These roots will "freeze" in place the moment the user leaves the ground, however, for a Mid worth of chakra, they will be able to resume controlling these tendrils the moment they touch earth once again.

A player may not recast this technique for the full amount while previous "casts" are still active. Instead, the user will only be able to replace damaged or destroyed roots until all previous ten have been destroyed. This process still requires a single High worth chakra to do.

Jukai Koutan (Deep Forest Emergence)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: Massive; Low (optional)
Jukai Koutan is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Element. After forming the necessary handseals, the user forces trees to grow out of any surface they choose around them. This includes grass growing from the ground, making it look like a true forest has just sprouted. The trees are very densely placed, so that anyone caught within will likely get lost without proper skills. The new forest is left indefinitely, and the user may manipulate any portion of it as they so desire for a small increment of chakra.

Note: The size of the forest cannot exceed a maximum of 50 meters in any direction of the user, who is the origin point. While within the forest immediately after it has been cast, the user can innately sense all beings touching any portion of the trees (or surfaces from which they have grown). However, once the user leaves the forest, this ability is lost no matter if they re-enter.

Kajukai Kourin (Advent of a World of Flowering Trees)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Offensive
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: x2 Massive; High (optional)
Kajukai Kourin is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wood Release. After performing a set of handseals, the user forces trees to grow on any surface in an instant, creating a one hundred meter plot of beautiful, flowering trees in all directions. These flowers produce a pollen that is then released into the atmosphere, and when inhaled, renders any afflicted target paralyzed. In order to counter the technique fully, either the trees themselves must be destroyed completely or the target must continue to remain elevated above the dispersed pollen.

Note: The size of the forest cannot exceed a maximum of 100 meters in any direction of the user, who is the origin point. While within the forest immediately after it has been cast, the user can innately sense all beings touching any portion of the trees (or surfaces from which they have grown). However, once the user leaves the forest, this ability is lost no matter if they re-enter.

The flowers spread their pollen in the same turn that the trees are summoned, and will continue releasing more so long as the user continues to feed a single High worth of chakra into the technique. Without the chakra upkeep the pollen stops, but the trees remain indefinitely. Paralysis lasts for a total of two turns. After the paralysis wears off, inhaling the pollen again will paralyze them another time. Therefore, it is important to escape the area of effect. Only the user of this technique is immune to the pollen created by these trees

Mokuton: Hotei no Jutsu (Wood Release: Laughing Buddha Technique)
Rank: S.
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary.
Handseals: 6
Chakra Consumption: x2 High (per arm).
After performing the required hand seals, the user creates a number of gigantic wooden hands that erupt from beneath the ground. They then encircle and attempt to restrain a chosen enemy. The sizes of these wooden arms are equivalent to that of other enormous summons, more notably the tail beasts.

Note: Only a maximum of ten arms may be summoned at once. These arms are, at maximum, twenty meters long and eight meters wide. The maximum distance away from the user these hands can be is 50 meters.

Mokuton: Houbi no Jutsu (Wood Release: Wood Expulsion Jutsu)
Rank: S.
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m).
Type: Defensive.
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: Massive.
After performing the required handseals, the user creates a large, wooden, dome-like defensive structure that completely surrounds them. It takes on the form of a dragon’s face. This defense is split down the middle, and can be opened and closed on the user’s command. It is strong enough to withstand the destructive force a fully evolved tailed beast ball.

Note: This dome is large enough to comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of five shinobi. Furthermore, this technique can only survive the destructive force equivalent to one tailed beast ball while remaining in tact. Subsequent damage of such high caliber will cause the dome to shatter. It can, on the other hand, endure multiple heavily damaging assaults and is immune to all jutsu of b-rank and below.

Mokuton: Mokujin no Jutsu (Wood Release: Wood Human Technique)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m)
Type: Supplementary
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: Massive
After forming the required hand seals, the user creates a large statue-like creature out of wood. It is depicted as a large oni with a dragon coiled around its torso, draping its serpentine head over the oni's right shoulder. Despite its size, this wooden construct moves fluidly and quite easily - much like a normal human. Created from some of the most resilient chakra-forged mokuton in existence, this technique boasts enough strength and durability to literally catch the infamous tailed-beast ball. The ability to contain the destruction sphere of energy, keeping it from detonating, is unique solely to this statue.

Note: Due to its size and durability, this construct is all but immune to all forms of traditional damage (weaponry and low-ranked and most jutsu, spare for devastating, high-impact techniques). It can, however, be destroyed by other large summons that boast equivalent strength and ability. At maximum, this technique can grow to thirty meters tall and ten meters wide (shoulder-to-shoulder).

Senpou: Mokuton: Shin Suusenju (Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands)
Rank: S.
Range: Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary.
Handseals: 1
Chakra Consumption: x3 Massive.
After accessing Sage Mode and performing the necessary hand seal, the user creates a wooden statue of titanic proportion, easily able to dwarf even the tailed-beasts. Thousands of arms and hands emanate from the statue’s back in countless concentric rows, while its two main hands are clasped as if in prayer. The statue can serve a variety of purposes in battle from fighting on the user’s behalf, to defending and even using other techniques with it.

This titanic statue is able to withstand unprecedented amounts of damage, and likewise deal enough damage to completely dismantle the legendary Susano’o (including the true form). While somewhat slow, the sheer size and mass of this construct allows it to cover enormous amounts of distance all the same.

Note: This technique requires the user to possess Senjutsu and a complete mastery of the Mokuton tree (excluding the bijuu suppression technique). This ability can only be used once per thread, and only after the user activates Sage Mode. It goes without saying that only bijuu-level damage is enough to even pose any sort of hindrance to this technique, and even then, may not be enough to stop it completely. This technique can only be sustained for three posts.

It should be noted that the size of this statue is somewhat exaggerated (as shown in the image). While the arms anchored to the back of the statue do extend well beyond its figure, its actual body is only twice the size a bijuu.

Hokage-Shiki Jijun Jutsu: Kakuan Nitten Suishu (Hokage-Style Sixty-Year-Old Technique: Enclosed Hermitage Entering Society with bliss-Bringing Hands)
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m)
Type: Supplementary.
Handseals: 6
Chakra Consumption: x2 Massive.
This technique utilizes the power of the Wood Release to forcibly suppress a tail beast’s chakra, rendering them null. To technique is incredibly rare, even among mokuton users, and requires extensive knowledge of tailed beasts and their energy. After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will produce the kanji for “sit” in the center of their extended palm, and then by touching the tailed beast, or its host, with that hand, the user suppresses the chakra inside an area line within ten pillars.

Note: This technique requires a Kinjutsu-level quest. When used on a Jinchuuriki, this technique eliminates the player's ability to tap into their bijuu's reserves, or perks, for the remainder of the thread. When used directly on a bijuu, this technique will subdue them without fail so long as the user is able to remain in contact with the beast for a total of three posts.
